Practice Makes Better: Getting Comfortable With Coping Skills

A recent comment on one of my posts helped me realize there was something even more important than LifeTools themselves that I hadn’t talked about. What could be more important than these tools?

The fact that it doesn’t matter how many great tools you have if you don’t PRACTICE using them!

There are a couple points I’d like to reinforce:

First, just like you would NOT wait to PRACTICE your new swimming skills until you were on board the Titanic & really needed them… Don’t wait until you find yourself in a crisis situation to PRACTICE your new LifeTools! When the time comes that you need them, you want to be confident and comfortable using them.

There is no better time than now to PRACTICE…..

Second, STOP using this saying:  Practice Makes Perfect.

Instead use this saying:  Practice Makes Improvement!

Lastly, I’d like to leave you with my Acronym for practice:

~ Take Control Of Stress ~
